What This Site Is

Fagren Stube is an editorial publication about traditional Bavarian home cooking prepared without vegetable oil. Everything on the site, recipes, articles and photography selections, is offered for personal reading and home cooking. Nothing on this site is offered for sale, and the site processes no payments and holds no customer accounts.

Cooking From Our Recipes

You are welcome to cook every dish we publish, adapt it to your kitchen and share the results with the people at your table. The recipes describe how these dishes have traditionally been prepared; ovens, ingredients and hands differ, so your outcome may differ from ours. You remain responsible for safe food handling, for checking doneness of meat and fish, and for judging whether any ingredient suits the people you cook for.

Ownership of the Content

The texts, recipe write ups, layout and brand identity of Fagren Stube belong to the publisher or are used under license. You may print recipes for personal use and share links to our pages freely. You may not republish substantial portions of the site, scrape its content into another publication, or present our work as your own without written permission.
